How do you help your customers, architects and designers to choose the products that best suit their needs?
To begin with, there is always constant interaction, discussion and analysis to satisfy reciprocal requirements. And often my team and I have to race to meet special requests in record time. I remember, for example, an architect who needed a sample to verify its exact dimensions, and as one was not immediately available from the production department, we made a prototype ourselves out of wood. The architect appreciated our proactive approach and the prototype is still sitting on my desk to remind me that nothing is impossible, if it is done with passion.


Is there a project you are particularly proud or fond of?
Actually there are lots of challenging projects and it is difficult for me to choose the one I am particularly proud of. Thanks to the strong relationships and the close collaboration with lighting designers, architects and general planners, we have had the opportunity to work together at ambitious lighting projects. Each of them has been developed with passion and devotion, in order to realize what the customers need.


Today you successfully manage a local team who cover from Hamburg to Frankfurt. What advice would you give your team?
We are a great team that works with enormous passion to reach ever increasing success. My only advice is: be professional, be unique and stay motivated to ensure you always give your best.
