Newfo was designed for Filorail and was inspired by the Ufo floodlight launched in 1977 – an icon of innovation in architectural lighting. The addition of 'squircle' design aspects involved a review of the product's lines, curves and angles to fit into a more contemporary shape, while retaining certain features of the original design. But that's not all - it expresses an attitude that incorporates elements of solidity and structure (represented by the square) together with a dash of flexibility and fluidity (represented by the circle).
