We’ve just returned from Essen, Germany, where the 2025 Red Dot Design Award ceremony took place—an event that continues to celebrate the best in international design. It was an honour for us to step onto the stage of the Aalto-Theater and accept new recognitions that reflect our ongoing work at the intersection of innovation, form, and sustainability.
Light Shed Linen (designiGuzzini) received the “Red Dot: Best of the Best”, the competition’s highest accolade in Product Design. In the same category, Trick eᵐ (design Dean Skira), Filorail, and Newfo (both design iGuzzini) were each awarded the “Red Dot” for outstanding design quality.
The celebrations continued at the Red Dot Design Museum with the Designers Night – a unique opportunity to share this milestone with the global design community.
These awards are a source of great pride and motivation. They strengthen our commitment to creating lighting solutions that enhance how people live, move, and interact across every kind of space – from public infrastructure and cultural venues to workplaces, retail settings and hospitality environments.
For us, design is not only about aesthetics and performance – it’s a responsibility to people, to places, and to the future.
